Our last morning and we decided to check out Plymouth on the way back. We took a wee tour of the Mayflower II and this was yet another interesting wee trip. Costumed guides added to the enjoyment and provided lots of useful information. The Plymouth Rock was nearby and pics were taken of that too.
Lunch was surprisingly good in a wee diner across the road. Our trip was completed with a look in the tourist shops - then off to the airport to return the car.
SatNav got us there no problem and we had a bit of a check in queue to content with before settling in the lounge for a short time. Not a great lounge it has to be said.
Flight back was uneventful - very smooth - watched Brave and Iron Lady - kind of contrasting - as well as the Actors' Studio with the cast of Mad Men.
Amsterdam was our connection and another visit to Crowne Lounge - then home about 9:00.
