Day 4 - the Whale Watch!

Up relatively early - we ventured to the Pizza place next door for what proved to be a very adequate breakfast before lining up for our Whale Watch which departed at 10:00.

This was a very enjoyable trip - the water was pretty calm and the cruise out was lovely. Whales were spotted - mainly a whale known as Evolution - and lots of tail whacking was seen.  Pics and video taken in abundance.  The tour guide was knowledgable, however I think I did expect a bit more commentary from the Aquarium staff.

The trip back was a good deal windier - Maurice got a bit burnt too.

After we had a bite to eat at Quincy again, we took our trip around the Aquarium.  It is a very good one, although the majority of the penguins were on 'vacation' while renovations are carried out and the ones that remained looked a bit sad - and were in a very small enclosure. The seals were similarly cooped up a bit. But for them there may be larger areas they can swim in too. The fish were amazing and the jelly fish particularly pretty.

Once we had stopped back at the hotel for a rest, we went back to the Quincy Market area. After the Harley Shop we stopped at our 2 bars from the first night before wandering back to the bar from the night before - which was closed - so we went into the downstairs indoor area. Think we actually had hot dogs on our last night too - just for a change!
