We breakfasted in the room and the weather looked good for our trip to Martha's Vineyard. We popped into the Harley Shop first and bought a couple of things and a fridge magnet. The woman in the shop was very chatty and we were running our of time!
Anyway, we got there in plenty time as it happened. Parked the car and walked across to wait for the ferry - which hadn't come in as yet.
The ferry trip was fast and pleasant, with full wifi and we got to Martha's Vineyard just in time for the Island bus tour. This took two and a half hours and was narrated continuously without a break by an ageing hippie type. Lots of interesting places and pics, but the weather was closing in a bit and not so great. We had lunch in the Coop de Ville with our vouchers and then we walked among the gingerbread cottages which were very pretty and interesting. The rain started when we finished our walk and really turned grey.
We got the 6.35 ferry back to land and were back at the motel by around 8.00.
We ventured out a bit later to the Squire - which was not so great on this occasion. Apparently a karaoke night was on later on! We popped in to the Del-Mare for a quick one before heading on back to the room.
